This new feature in our favorite facebook game, Cafe World, is really a doozy! I am not sure yet if I’m going to like it.. but I was looking for a new gardening game since the one I was playing closed last year. (Secret Plant Society, if you’re curious.)
That, and I just started my real garden last Wednesday, so now I can ignore it and play with my video game garden. That’s how it works, right? I mean, I keep burning my food in real life because I get distracted with my game restaurant.
Okay, enough babbling.
The new Indoor Garden feature is very involved. The goals themselves are just one part of it that is meant to introduce you to everything that it has to offer. Progressing through the goals give you rewards such as gold hearts for the Valentines’s Event, spare vases, and unlocks the flowers needed to actually participate. You won’t just be unlocking the black and white Orchids, but actually all of them aside from the basic ones that you start with. You may want to take a little time off of the Safe Cracker to get this going, if for no other reason than the extra spice.
Extra spice, you say? Why, yes I do say. According to Zynga/Cafe World’s official guide, having 6 flowers active at the time gives you the opportunity to get spices from guests that appear in your cafe. In other words, put the doors back on the walls, folks – guests are coming! Most of the time, you’ll just get Power Pepper, but occasionally (roughly 1/10 or so, according to some folks) you will get an Instant Spice or better! If you hang around your cafe for long stretches, this might be up your alley.
Oh, before I forget.. you’ll need to build it first. You can use this to get help from your friends: Indoor Garden Parts Gifter.
Also, you should know that some people are not receiving the gold hearts that they should be. If that describes you, I suggest putting in a support ticket with Zynga. SUPPORT LINK HERE
To be clear, this page is meant to cover both the White Orchid and Black Orchid goals.
Amazingly, I have a complete list of goals, thanks in part to the good people on the forums. You will find them after this list of items. The goal list is long, and covers all 20 goals. Bookmark this page so you can come back whenever you need to. I honestly don’t know if the amounts to cook (for the random dishes) will be the same for you. That’s just what I got this time around. Feel free to comment below with your experience.
Each page has 14 links on it, but you will probably not need that many. And if you need more than that, then just refresh the individual page and the timestamps will refresh.

well I had 6 flowers in the vases and I sat in my cafe for 23 minutes and didnt get one smiley face…. now they have withered….. hope they fix it
my flower garden green house is built says i can grow by clicking grow but nothing is happening. where do i get this fertilizer it says to click on
Has anyone had problems w/ the magnolias not unlocking? I completed White Orchid #5 & that was supposed to unlock the magnolias. White Orchid #6 requires you to grow magnolias four times, but that flower is still locked in my indoor garden :~(

finally my flowers have been unlocked. about time.
zinga has now unlocked my magnolia. Grew 2 and placed in pots. Grew the second 2 placed in pots but these two have not counted on the quest grrrrrrrr Another 2 now growing, hope these count so I can move on

Yes I am having the same problem, the Magnolias hasn’t released….I’m stuck at Goal 6.. As for the smiley faces I have received Instant Theme’s and othr spices.
BUT please fix gaol # 6 and release the Magnolias…..

I emailed Zynga today and they opened the magnolia for me within a few hours.
I have the exact same problem and have alread submitted a complaint!
I just tried this for the first time. In about 15 or 20 minutes, I got 1 instant thyme, 3- 1 hour thyme. 2- power pepper. After a while the smiley faces stopped popping up but I won’t complain just yet. I think I won’t worry about using it much until I have done enough of the goals to open more pots. It’s too hard to keep 6 vases full when I only have 2 pots to grow them in.
I am having the same problem with only 1 smiley face in 15 min. Yet I keep noticing characters like Lotus, Daisy and Orchid coming in my cafe … I can’t help but wonder if they are supposed to be the ones with the smiley face. ??
Has anyone else not gotten the gold hearts that they earned? I have been 1 gold heart away from the goal of 16 for the 4x Ultra stove for days. Have not received at least 4 gold hearts.
how am i suppose to grow flowers that are locked and I need to finish the challenge. It said I had to finish quest #5 to unlock magnolis. I am on quest 6 and they are still locked.

Is anyone else having issues with no “smiley faces” … I work hard to get 6 fresh flowers in the cafe and the “mood meter” registers that I have 6 flowers yet no smiley faces…

Have anyone completed both of the white n black orchid quests but still can’t grow more than 2 flowers at 1 time?
I’ve completed most orchid requests Jordan, but so far only unlocked the two original spots for growing flowers. I will say, I was able to grow the magnolia long before it was supposed to be unlocked. I grow them or lilacs (I think) because they last 8 hours, then fast grow a couple lilies (1 hour grow time) so I can get the free spices. It’s constant work, too much effort in my opinion. But obsessive. I think originally the smiley face was required to keep my rating up but they may have fixed that now. Not really liking the flower feature at the moment because I’m running 7 accounts and it’s way too time consuming. But I’m dealing with it so far. I think it’s more important to run the goals through to get the gold hearts at present, with ancient recipes and the new Paris goals tied for second. If you need stoves, that’s where it’s at. But Paris appears to have a no clean fairy as a reward and that’s pretty nice. Personally, my main account already has one so with some luck I can trade it out for a no spoil genie.
If you already have a No Clean Fairy, you get a 3rd 4X 50% stove.
So how much power pepper can one spice rack hold?!!
I suspect that it’ll start breaking the game soon as people’s spice racks hit the 1000s!

I dont know where to go on google chrome to get the face gamer things i need..All i know is i am suppost to click the star to book mark facebook and then face gamer.I have tryed but it wont show me any thing and if i do get this done i need to know the steps on google to get the things i need can some one help me . Is anyone else growing the required flowers BUT not getting credit towards the goal for them?? Is there a solution??
